We’re looking for an experienced Lead Planner to join our team of industry leading wealth advisors, reporting directly to the General Manager of Financial Planning. This individual will be managing a team of financial planners while still staying hands on with planning and providing an incredible experience for our members.

But we’re looking for more than just a great advisor - you’ll be a key component of helping to reinvent the wealth management space through tech. From collecting financial information, to evaluations and projections, to custom plan delivery, this person will partner with our product team to share their expertise and provide feedback as we continue to build out our suite of proprietary tools.

We're excited to hire this role at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA, or one of our hub locations in New York City and Bellevue. All of our positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with your team. • Gain a deep understanding of our members’ unique needs and aspirations to confidently advise them on their financial goals

• Build and implement iterative financial plans and wealth strategies

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of financial planning, investments, and tax planning

• Be an active part of a collaborative team and share best practices

• Assist our engineering and product teams with prioritizing and creating product plans and roadmaps

• Research and present investment strategies

• Coordinate tax filing and estate planning

• Active designation(s) as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Enrolled Agent (EA), Equity Compensation Associate (ECA) or similar

• 9+ years experience in a client-facing financial services roles

• Experience with in depth tax planning and building tax projections for clients

• Significant experience in delivering financial advice directly to consumers

• Exceptional investment acumen and knowledge of broader planning topics

• Significant experience using financial services technology

• Interest in or passion for the tech space, and a desire to change the industry

• Strong organizational, leadership, and written communication skills

• BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, or other related major preferred

Base salary range: $180,000 - $280,000
