Environmental Safety Specialist

Overview

Silver Edge is seeking candidates for the following position:
Environmental Safety Specialist-Dev

• Two (2) years of related experience in the following:
• • Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting Government facilities
• • Draft policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the Government
• • Develop and/or review applicable environmental compliance and management plans
• • Review National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and provide Facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability
• • Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• • Conduct environmental compliance inspections/audits/evaluations as directed by the Government to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and Presidential Executive Orders
• • Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the Government
• • Develop and conduct environmental compliance training for Government employees and contractors
• • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineerin
• Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance w/ FS Poly
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
