Overview

Silver Edge is seeking candidates for the following position:
Environmental Safety Specialist-Dev

Required Qualifications

Two (2) years of related experience in the following:

Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting Government facilities

Draft policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the Government

Develop and/or review applicable environmental compliance and management plans

Review National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and provide Facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability

Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Conduct environmental compliance inspections/audits/evaluations as directed by the Government to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and Presidential Executive Orders

Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the Government

Develop and conduct environmental compliance training for Government employees and contractors

Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance w/ FS Poly

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
