The Threat Mitigation Department (N922) is seeking an Associate Counterintelligence Analyst to support our counterintelligence mission within the National and Defense Intelligence Program. The Threat Mitigation Department develops strategies, policies, technical analyses, and tools to enhance the nation’s counterintelligence and counter-insider threat mission sponsors. The work requires operating with the senior levels of government, as well as a comprehensive understanding of counterintelligence analysis, the counterintelligence mission, and the Intelligence Community, particularly the partners and stakeholders in the counterintelligence mission.
Roles and Responsibilities- Work with senior government officials and intelligence professionals to evaluate geopolitical developments, military strategies, and regional security challenges and develop analytic assessments, strategies, and other documentation as related to counterintelligence.
- Work with senior government officials and intelligence professionals to evaluate technical capabilities that can be used by adversaries to collect intelligence.
- Candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI with current Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree and experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experience in the counterintelligence domain.
Knowledge of analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203), structured analytic techniques, critical thinking. - Knowledge of HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and/or other intelligence gathering disciplines.
- Experience generating reports, briefings, and position papers.
- Strong writing and briefing skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.
Top Secret/SCI/Polygraph
Clearance ObligationTop Secret/SCI/Polygraph within one year from the date of hire.
Salary$76,800 - $96,000 - $115,200 Annual
