BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 4 to support operations in Hanover, Maryland.

The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Desired Languages:

• Russian
• Farsi
• Somali

Minimum of 15 years of full-time experience in language processing or related fields.

ILR skill level 3 in audio and text translation from the required language into idiomatic American English, or ILR level 3 in listening and reading on the DLPT.

15 years in crypto language processing, related language, or crypto experience.

Related Language Experience includes oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, document exploitation, or formal teaching in the target language.

At least 8 of the 15 years in crypto language processing must include QC’ing and mentoring.

At least 8 of the 15 years must be in the required language(s).

If working with multiple languages:

• 6 of the 8 years in crypto language processing.
• 5 of the 8 years in translating, transcribing, and gisting.

3 years of experience QC’ing both audio and graphic at ILR level 3 in the target language.

No more than 7 of the 15 years should be spent reporting as the primary duty.

At least 1 of the 8 years in the target language must be within 6 years of resume submission.

Education and Experience:

Mid/Senior positions require a bachelor's degree or an additional four years of experience.

Pay Range: $230,000 to $255,000, depending on location. This range is a general guideline and may vary based on various factors including experience, education, and specific role requirements.
