Recruitment Manager at Cordia Resources by Cherry BekaertCordia Resources is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist. This role will be responsible for supporting high-volume payroll processing, payroll reporting, and payroll-related journal entries. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical payroll expertise, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Process high-volume payroll accurately and timely
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with high-volume processing required
- Proficiency with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) payroll system required
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
- Experience preparing payroll journal entries and supporting reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
