Job Description & How to Apply Below
Principal Associate, Inclusive Talent Solutions Consultant

As a Consultant and Delivery Lead Principal Associate on the Inclusive Talent Solutions Team, you will be a key partner in embedding inclusion and belonging into Capital One's recruiting efforts. You'll advise on talent strategy, creative ideation, recruiter upskilling, and training with an inclusion‑first approach. This role involves cross‑functional collaboration to educate, provide implementable solutions, and partner closely with stakeholders to ensure adoption, consistency, and growth.

A primary duty is risk mitigation within Talent Acquisition (TA) and across the enterprise. This includes understanding internal and external factors to adjust our operating model, maintaining a risk‑conscious and averse posture.

The ideal candidate is passionate about research, process improvement, project management, and delivering high‑quality solutions for a large stakeholder group, ultimately benefiting our candidates. This role reports to the Head of Inclusive Talent Solutions and is integral to the overall TA organization.

General Responsibilities

• Strategy Development & Deliverable Execution (~40%) - Contribute to the inclusive operating model within TA, driving prioritization and visibility of initiatives aligned with Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) and enterprise goals. Own the development and execution of flagship projects using project management frameworks. Research and develop resources to educate and upskill TA, embedding inclusion principles into our recruitment approach.

• Inclusive Talent Consulting (~30%) - Represent Inclusive Talent Solutions, partnering with TA, Lines of Business (LOBs), and adjacent teams to communicate priorities, advise on inclusion‑focused situations, and drive adoption of guidance for optimal solutions. Report on research and insights on high‑impact topics relevant to local TA teams. Create compelling storytelling rooted in insights to influence business leaders and recruiters. Understand recruiting needs to apply relevant guidance while maintaining a company‑wide perspective.

• Risk Mitigation & Cross‑Functional Partnership (~30%) - Build collaborative relationships with adjacent teams to not only progress their priorities but also identify and eliminate risks. Develop processes to educate on risk appetite and create a self‑managed framework for others to utilize in maintaining a preferred risk posture. This includes screening and reviewing materials, providing amendments, and removing outdated documents or processes.

In addition, this role is the primary contact in TA handling Permanent Reassignment cases within the organization for internal review and possible placement.
