Overview
Customer Success Manager (Public Sector) role focuses on serving as a strategic advisor to empower customers across industries to transform their businesses using Appian’s software platform with AI, robotic automation, Data Fabric, and other technologies. You will understand customer goals, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor to drive customer success.
What You’ll Do- Uncover and shape each customer’s goals, translate these objectives into actionable plans, and drive execution with the customer.
- Drive adoption by helping clients build and manage Appian applications and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to align Appian capabilities with the client’s business goals and articulate value for additional investment.
- Identify and remove barriers to successful adoption and expansion of Appian software.
- Establish yourself as a strategic partner and trusted advisor with client stakeholders by aligning Appian capabilities with evolving business strategies.
- Monitor account health to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for intervention.
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical field.
- Strong consulting skills and a track record as a trusted advisor driving business value for customers.
- Excellent written and spoken communication to executive-level audiences.
- Excellent organization and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with technology implementation, consulting, success management, or advisory services (5+ years preferred).
- Experience with building, implementing, configuring, deploying, or testing enterprise technology solutions (SaaS/PaaS) in areas such as workflow, intelligent automation, low-code development, BPM, CRM, ERP, RPA, ITSM, etc.
- Understanding of integrating web services, data integration, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to learn how technology drives business value.
- Experience with agile software development practices.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25-50%).
