About the Role
As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of performance, stability, and continuous delivery in support of our customers and employees. You will contribute to existing Kubernetes-based infrastructure platforms, work with application teams to monitor and improve performance, and assist with AWS cost management.

· Take ownership of the Dev Ops-related stack including Kubernetes, Git Hub actions, AWS, and Terraform.

· Share technical knowledge, best practices, and deployment best practices with internal stakeholders and team members

· Research, implement, document, and audit custom metrics, deployments solutions, and AWS architecture decisions to meet our customers’ specific needs.

· Configure and deploy systems that help our customers’ ship code with lower impact

· Perform tech support for onsite and remote users – core hours 9-5, M-F (after-hours maintenance and support as needed)

· Communicate concerns and metrics to senior management and present on technical topics to a broad audience About You
You’re a good fit for the role of Senior Dev Ops Engineer if you have:

• A strong Linux background including knowledge of containerization technologies and products

• Automation and CI/CD experience including tools such as terraform, ansible, and Git Hub Actions

• Enterprise experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Enterprise experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

• Development experience with languages such as Python or Bash

• Prior experience with real-time data pipelines

• Prior experience with SNS/SQS, Python data frameworks, Redis, MySQL, or Dramatiq

• Extensive experience troubleshooting complex technical issues including authentication services, certificates, and network connectivity

• A strong security background and familiarity with US Government security and compliance benchmarks (CIS, STIG).

• US Citizenship and ability/desire to be processed for a security clearance

• The ability to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment

• A bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum of five years IT-related experience

• Security-related certifications or training

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical employees
