The sponsor requires web development support for the ground-up development, build, continuous management, and maintenance of a Word Press-based website. Responsibilities include updating educational and outreach content, creating and managing comment capabilities, uploading and managing video content, and creating sections for administrative functions, including shared calendar management.

• Design, build, and maintain a website using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of new websites and modifications of existing ones.
• Analyze user needs and site requirements to determine feasibility within time and resource constraints.
• Apply coding and testing standards, security testing tools, and conduct code reviews.
• Compile and write documentation of site development and revisions, including comments in code for clarity.
• Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify issues, and suggest changes.
• Build sustainable relationships through timely, open, and interactive communication.

• Experience with Word Press.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience with open source software.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Experience writing workflows, including changing security permissions.
• Experience building customized reports, forms, and features.
• Experience configuring and administering search, site collections, and developing new content types in Word Press and SharePoint.

• Experience with web application development.
• Certification as a SharePoint Administrator.
