UI/UX Designer

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled UI/UX Designer. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, enhance, and modernize custom application solutions, focusing on creating engaging, visually appealing, and intuitive digital experiences. Work primarily on Microsoft .NET‑based solutions with React for front‑end development. Your role will be integral in solving user‑centered challenges and delivering value to our clients.

• Gather and analyze user requirements in collaboration with product owners, analysts, and developers.
• Design user interfaces through wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups.
• Develop graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, widgets, and page navigation tools.
• Build original, pixel‑perfect visual designs that align with branding and functionality goals.
• Identify and resolve UX challenges while ensuring responsive design across devices.
• Create and iterate on layouts based on user feedback and testing.
• Adhere to consistent design standards, including fonts, colors, and imagery.
• Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders for approval.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to refine and deliver UI/UX features during development phases.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure best practices.

• 3‑5+ years of UI/UX or digital design experience.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong design portfolio.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including familiarity with JS frameworks.
• Expertise in wireframe tools (e.g., InVision, Figma, Wireframe.cc).
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Deep understanding of web technology standards, including HTTP, caching, and responsive design.
• Experience translating design files into functional HTML/CSS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile and Scrum‑based environments.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

Base salary range: $85k – $115k. This role may also be eligible for variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full‑time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.
