Contributions- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate,Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Serve as the Power Platform subject matter expert for the project, providing end-to-end lifecycle support for applications from initial design through deployment, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including embedding Power BI visualizations within Power Apps solutions.
- Manage enhancements, configuration updates, and ongoing improvements to Power Platform solutions, including field updates, workflows, approvals, and page layouts.
- Build and maintain Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate workflows to support business processes and operational needs.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with internal and external systems using Power Automate, Logic Apps, Dataverse APIs, and other integration mechanisms.
- Support application operations through break/fix resolution, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Support and maintain Dev Ops practices, including solution packaging and participation in build, test, and release pipelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, scope technical solutions, estimate effort, and deliver complete work products.
- Research and prototype new Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in team meetings, unit and regression testing, and continuous improvement efforts across the environment.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience building and supporting custom applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and Power BI in support of Power Platform solutions.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with internal or external systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned applications and deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions.
- Must have an active, relevant certification.
Nice to Have
- Ability to work onsite in Bethesda, MD.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Service Now.
- Experience with Cloud Service Providers and resellers.
- Experience with cloud financial billing structures and cost allocations with agency stakeholders.
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $170,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
