Forescout Cyber Security Engineer; TS​/SCI Poly Security Clearance

Position: Forescout Cyber Security Engineer (TS/SCI Poly) with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Forescout to support a federal customer in McLean, VA. This mid-level role focuses on implementing and operating next-generation cybersecurity solutions, including network engineering, system administration, and Active Directory services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Forescout Counter

ACT appliances and a strong understanding of federal security policies and compliance frameworks. Responsibilities:
* Implement and operate advanced cybersecurity tools and technologies to protect large-scale networks.
* Architect and design IP networks, including developing and documenting network topologies.
* Perform network engineering tasks such as switch configuration, VLAN setup, and firewall appliance management.
* Administer Windows and Linux systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and security upgrades.
* Deploy and maintain Forescout Counter

ACT appliances in customer environments.
* Integrate cybersecurity data using enterprise tools such as Splunk for analysis and reporting.
* Support Tier II IT operations, including ticket updates, issue remediation, and system monitoring.
* Collaborate with team members and customers to resolve technical challenges and ensure mission success.

Qualifications:

* Associate's degree and 5+ years of IT experience, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years, or Master's degree and 1+ year; equivalent experience may be considered.
* Experience with network engineering and system administration in multi-domain architectures.
* Knowledge of Active Directory, LAN/WAN, VLANs, and virtualized environments.
* 1+ years of Windows or Linux administration experience.
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, etc.).
* Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support certification within 30 days of start.
* TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph. Preferred:
* Experience deploying and maintaining Forescout Counter

ACT appliances.
* Familiarity with federal security policies, RMF processes, and risk management frameworks.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a team environment. Compensation:
* Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 (based on experience).
