Senior Platform Engineer (Snowflake, Databricks on AWS, Data Ops, Data Lakes)

We are seeking Platform Engineers passionate about creating and supporting Dev Ops tools with emerging technologies.
GeneralResponsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full‑stack of development tools and technologies
- Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutions
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting‑edge technologies, inclusion, outside‑of‑the‑box thinking, teamwork, self‑organization and diversity
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git Hub, or Artifactory)
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices and Data Warehousing
- 2+ years of experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- 2+ years of experience with Python, Scala or Spark
- 2+ years of experience working with Jenkins (continuous integration and continuous delivery)
