.Net​/Production Support

Note: This is a production support with limited (20-25%) of development related work.

Rate: $60/hr on C2C

Location: On-site at Mclean, VA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support for application issues.
• Lead major incidents until closure, perform RCAs and analyze and recommend corrective solutions.
• Provide technical solutions to the Jr team members while triaging the incidents and service request.
• Provide root cause analysis for repeated issues.
• Responsible for maintaining .Net, VB and Angular applications using Client standard practices and techniques.
• Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for documenting and communicating application design, topologies, and architecture of the existing business applications and debugging the same.

Skill Set Requirement:

• Minimum 6-10 years’ experience working on .Net and VB technologies.
• Solid understanding of the ITSM process (Incident, Problem Management, change management).
• Prior experience in coding using VB, .Net, XML, etc.
• Strong knowledge writing and debugging in PL/SQL, MS SQL Stored procedure, Views, Triggers and Functions.
• Good knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
• Working experience with Dynatrace Monitoring and troubleshoot events based on alert.
• Ability to review the application code and find the environment configuration, data mapping, understand Data flow between applications, etc.
• Strong knowledge in Writing and Debugging MS SQL Stored Procedure, Functions, Triggers, Joins, etc.
• Very good exposure in troubleshooting Auto Sys Job failure.
• Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Good hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedure (Sybase, MS SQL server).

Java Sr Engineer - Application Support (1 Position)

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience working on Java/J2EE technology.
• Strong technology background, solid understanding of the ITSM process (Incident, Problem Management, change management).
• Experienced in application support with Java/J2EE, .Net technologies.
• Exposure to Auto sys job schedule, monitoring.
• 4-5 years of strong middleware experience using technologies such as SOA, OSB, Apigee, Web Logic, Tomcat and Apache.
• Good hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedure (Sybase, MS SQL server).
• Experience in Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c (Web Services, BPEL, Mediators, OSB and Composites).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in shell scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Open Shift Pods.
• At least 3 years of experience in Java, JEE, Spring boot, Docker, Kubernetes.
• At least 2 years of experience in Apigee, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID.
• At least 3 years of experience in RESTful API design and development D15.
• Experience in using Autosys, HP Site Scope, Giteye, TFS for log and alert review.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologies AWS, CICD, Jenkins, Dev Ops Process (GI, Jenkins, Cloud Formation, AWS resources).
