The Service Now Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering Service Now applications.
What You Will Do :
Develop, configure, and enhance Service Now applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Stay current with Service Now products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing Service Now implementations.
Perform unit, system, and integration testing.
Debug and fix technical problems.
Support the development of detailed technical documentation.
Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of Service Now solutions.
What You Will Need :
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Minimum Years of
Experience:
3 years of Service Now experience supported by Service Now certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).Minimum Degree
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.Experience in Service Now Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Angular
JS), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with Service Now automated testing framework (ATF).
Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST preferred.
Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
