Senior SOA Developer (Oracle SOA, BPEL, Oracle ESB)

Petadata is looking for a highly experienced Senior SOA Developer with over 10 years of hands‑on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, and Oracle ESB. The candidate will lead the design and development of complex service‑oriented architecture solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to integration strategy and best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of SOA‑based integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite (11g/12c).
- Architect and optimize complex BPEL workflows, mediators, and Oracle ESB integrations.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to define integration architecture and patterns.
- Guide the implementation of integrations with external/internal systems using Oracle Adapters (DB, File, JMS, FTP, SAP, etc.).
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and fault‑tolerance of integration solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle of services, including versioning, exception handling, and performance tuning.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
- Coordinate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including design specs, deployment guides, and support manuals.
- Provide L3 production support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis for integration failures.
- Support Dev Ops initiatives, CI/CD integration, and release automation for SOA artifacts.
- 10+ years of enterprise integration experience with Oracle SOA Suite (11g/12c).
- Expert‑level skills in BPEL Process Manager, Oracle ESB and Mediators, XSLT, XPath, XSD, WSDL, SOAP/RESTful Web Services.
- Proven experience integrating with Oracle EBS, Siebel, or other ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of message routing, orchestration, transformation, and exception handling.
- Deep knowledge of Web Logic Server administration and deployment processes.
- Strong experience with performance tuning, load testing, and monitoring tools (e.g., EM Console, JFR, JVisual
VM). - Proficient in Oracle DB and SQL for integration‑related queries and data management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Oracle SOA or Oracle Fusion Middleware certifications.
- Experience with Oracle API Gateway, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), or Mule Soft.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Ansible).
- Familiarity with security protocols (SSL, OAuth, WS‑Security) in service integrations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
