Credence is seeking a System Engineer to support DLA s PIEE Program Management Office and ensure that IT operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis
Responsibilities- Lead evaluation and assessment of emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-based platforms (AWS)
- Develop technology strategy and roadmaps for AI/ML tool integration and deployment
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Operations, Development) on technology requirements and implementations
- Manage security, compliance, and authorization (Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include Authority to Operate (ATO)) processes for new technology deployments
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for emerging technologies and platforms
- Prepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and briefings for executive leadership
- Collaborate on cloud infrastructure planning and optimization (AWS Bedrock, Open Search, Postgres, etc.)
- Support program-level planning and strategic alignment with stakeholder objectives
- Evaluate vendor solutions and third-party tools for integration with government systems
- Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards for approved technologies
- Support Agile teams in adoption of new tools and technologies
- Brief leadership on technology initiatives, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations
- Must posses a NACLC level clearance at a minimum
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing AI/ML technologies and tools
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Dev Sec Ops practice
- Experience with government security, compliance, and ATO processes (IT-II, Secret clearance environments)
- Strong technical writing and ability to prepare documentation, whitepapers, and executive briefings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audience
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred; security or AI/ML certifications a plus
