Site Reliability Engineer OverviewEveryone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a Dev Ops engineer, you’ll develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets clients’ needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You’ll help build container management software to solve our clients’ toughest challenges.
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment paradigms.
- Experience developing, managing, and securing cloud-native solutions, including containers in AWS.
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and updating Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as AWS CDK, AWS Cloud Formation, or Terraform.
- Experience automating tasks of varying complexity, from simple workstation tasks to elaborate deploy operations.
- Experience using AI tooling to accelerate or streamline tasks.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and hands‑on implementation.
- Knowledge of OOP fundamentals such as member fields, object instantiation, and inheritance.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops , or 6+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with AWS CDK.
- Experience with Type Script.
- Experience with logging and organization‑management AWS solutions such as Cloud Watch, Identity Center, Open Search, and Organizations.
- Experience with AWS security services such as Guard Duty, Macie, Detective, and Inspector.
- Experience implementing a platform compliant with standards like FedRAMP Moderate, HITRUST, PCI DSS, or SOC
2. - Experience operating in a government‑facing regulated environment with an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to open‑source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
- Experience with Amazon Q.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and BASH.

those below this threshold are only eligible for select offerings, which do not include health benefits. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). This figure represents the typical salary range for the role and is one component of the total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work Model- If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
