Our client is a large, mission-driven organization supporting complex enterprise programs and operational excellence across multiple teams. The Senior Business Analyst supports end-to-end analysis and delivery by translating business needs into clear technical requirements and test plans. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in McLean, VA, paying $55 per hour.
Responsibilities- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Interface between business and technical teams to clarify needs and constraints
- Create process maps and data flow documentation
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications
- Define project objectives and support feasibility analysis
- Support development, systems integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create and document UAT strategies, test plans, and test cases/scripts
- Experience working as a business analyst in the mortgage industry
- Ability to interface effectively between business and technical teams
- Understanding of the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in requirements gathering, process/data flow design, and technical specification design
- Experience supporting systems integration testing and UAT, including test strategy/plan development
- Knowledge of manual testing and automation testing concepts
- Prior team lead experience with expertise in third-party risk management, information security, and operational risk
- Advanced Excel skills including spreadsheet formulas and automation, plus financial statement analysis; knowledge of SOC reviews (including SOC 1 Type
2), controls, and enhancements; IT audit experience (preferred)
