Position Overview
Our client, a well-established boutique law firm in Northern Virginia, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal to support a fast-paced practice handling criminal defense and civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities Criminal & Civil Litigation Support- Electronic filing in state and local courts
- Managing calendars, court dates, deadlines, and hearings
- Maintaining physical and electronic case files
- Organizing discovery, pleadings, and litigation materials
- Communicating with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence
- Maintaining case management systems and filing accuracy
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring court rule compliance
- Answering phones and assisting clients professionally
