Overview

Senior Manager, Program Manager. Capital One is looking for a seasoned thought leader for the eData Discover Financial System (DFS) Integration Program team. We are looking for someone who is not only a talented leader, but who also is a strong strategic thinker and problem solver.

As a Senior Manager on our eData Discover Integration team, you will partner with Enterprise Data, DFS teams, Lines of business and other divisions to drive the execution of Enterprise Data Integration work streams and other programming activities that impact all Capital One Divisions. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company.

• Establishing, maintaining and facilitating program standards, practices, and governance.
• Ensuring proper documentation to mitigate risk and ensure on time delivery.
• Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with technical and product teams.

• Masters or MBA degree.
• 10+ years of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of Data Management experience.
• 3+ years of executive presentations and storytelling experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with technical and product teams.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management

New York, NY: $193,800 - $221,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Chicago, IL: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management

McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
