As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in McLean, VA. The scheduled hours are Monday‑Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
What You’ll Do- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintain patient health records and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date documentation
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain state RN licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintain Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintain State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice) as applicable
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (see list)
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (transcripts if necessary)
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required - At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting
