What is the Role?

Seasonal Sales Associate at CAMP Tysons Corner. You will guide families through our immersive retail experience, ensuring they have a magical visit and want to return.

• Bring the CAMP brand to life by creating a fully immersive experience for customers of all ages.
• Engage in conversations with families about their interests and the ages of their children, introducing relevant items and uncovering hidden wants.
• Welcome every guest with a custom greeting and a memorable entrance.
• Play with and engage families as they journey through the CAMP experience.
• Demo and play with products to illustrate features and appeal.
• Work at the crafting or slime bar, creating interactive moments.
• Customize personal shopping experiences for each family based on their interests.
• Check families out at the register and inform them about upcoming programs or news.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs through consistent commitment to best‑in‑class selling experiences.
• Build a repeat customer base by fostering an approachable, unique, and tailored selling culture.
• Support a positive and productive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and the CAMP brand.
• Assist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to keep the store fully stocked and customer‑ready.
• Communicate customer and store needs to the General Manager and store leadership for efficient operations.
• Assist with back‑of‑house tasks to maintain organized and efficient store operations.
• Support the General Manager and leadership team in achieving goal metrics.
• Report to the General Manager of your home store location.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work at least one weekend day per week, ideally both.
• Approximately 5–25 hours per week, depending on availability.

$14.00 per hour.

• Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds, potentially climbing ladders.
• Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind.
• Regular sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
• Operate manual and electrical equipment as needed.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift and continuously move around the store.
• Kneel and squat as required when engaging children or stocking shelves.

• Prior work experience in retail, child‑care, child development/education, or performing arts.
• Enthusiasm and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively.
• Desire to be part of a tight‑knit team aiming to transform traditional retail experiences.
• Patience, warmth, joy, and humor.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
