Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience. This requires following correct bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup service, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts into the store.

  Complete Company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge.
• Physical Demands:
  Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and smell. Occasional climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Must have close vision and depth perception.
• Work Environment:
  Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold. Noise level usually moderate.

Pay Transparency:
Harris Teeter reasonably expects to pay between $13.50/hour and $19.00/hour for this role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on previous experience and skill sets of the applicant.
