Alliance Sales Executive, Associate Director - Databricks, Industrials & Energy (I&E)
The role is within EY's Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP) function, focusing on the EY
- Databricks alliance to drive business transformations across Industrial Products and Energy sectors.
Location(s): Chicago, New York, San Francisco, San Jose, Atlanta, Stamford, Boston, Minneapolis, Hoboken, Iselin, Philadelphia, McLean, Washington DC, Phoenix, Dallas, Denver.
Key Responsibilities- Lead alliance sales activity by delivering against defined sales and pipeline targets.
- Build relationships with top priority clients for joint alliance pursuits and drive sales directly in the market.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the alliance program, Databricks‑powered business transformations, solutions, and the joint EY‑Databricks value proposition.
- Drive the pursuit of new business by originating and qualifying opportunities from personal network, Databricks, and EY.
- Collaborate with Databricks channel teams on sales and GTM motions, developing and maintaining alliance partner relationships.
- Engage with clients and EY account and industry leadership to advance the EY‑Databricks partnership.
- 12 to 15+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience in professional services, solutions, and technology.
- Experience with technology alliances and business transformation.
- Cloud and modern AI & Data platform experience and understanding.
- Experience selling enterprise solutions directly to clients.
- Services sales experience at a Big‑4 firm or other GSI.
- Experience in sales pursuit activities (prospecting, discovery, qualification) involving data engineering, data science, AI, and business analytics.
- Expert client‑management and relationship skills, strong executive presence, and ability to influence without authority.
- Solid understanding of the marketplace/industry, competitive intelligence, and target account profiles.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- A university/bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of Databricks technology stack.
- Direct and Databricks channel sales experience.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Team selling experience.
- Ability to travel.

- Competitive compensation: base salary $221,410‑$280,070 plus incentive program (adjusted for NY, WA, CA as specified).
