Sales Executive – Public Safety and Law Enforcement

Location: McLean, VA (On-site) Must reside in the local area

Base Salary: $180K–$200K base |
OTE: $300K+ (uncapped commissions) | Equity

High-growth security technology company is seeking a Sales Executive to lead expansion in the Public Safety sector.

This role offers the chance to drive adoption of cutting-edge technology solutions for state and local law enforcement, municipalities, critical infrastructure, and private security organizations.
This role requires someone with deep relationships and credibility in the public safety ecosystem—not a traditional IT or SaaS seller.

• Proven success selling commercial hardware AND software into Public Safety markets (State and Law Enforcement entities and critical infrastructure)
• Background in law enforcement, military, or mission-critical technology sales strongly preferred
• Track record selling mission-driven hardware, integrated systems, or security technologies
• Existing network with law enforcement, homeland security, or critical infrastructure operators
• Travel up to 50% and support field demos (including equipment setup).

• Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, capture strategy, closing, and account growth.
• Build and expand relationships with law enforcement agencies, emergency management, and critical infrastructure operators
• Lead strategic capture efforts, demos, and field engagements that align technology capabilities with real-world mission needs
• Represent us at trade shows, demos, and customer events.
• Partner with Pre-Sales Engineering and BD teams on proposals, demos, and strategies.
