Program Security Officer (PSO)

At JMark, safeguarding classified programs is critical to mission success. We are seeking Program Security Officers (PSOs) across multiple discipline levels to implement and enforce security policies, manage risk, oversee compliance, and protect sensitive program information. This role requires strong knowledge of federal security directives, clearance management, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the highest levels of program security.
Key Responsibilities Security Policy & Compliance- Implement and enforce security policies to protect classified programs and sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, and other federal directives.
- Maintain documentation and audit records to support inspections and compliance reviews.
- Conduct program‑level risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Manage and monitor personnel security clearances to meet program requirements.
- Develop and update program security plans, aligning measures with mission objectives.
- Coordinate with program leadership and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated into operations.
- Deliver training and briefings on safeguarding classified information.
- Respond to incidents, lead investigations, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Security‑Savvy & Compliance‑Focused – Expert in government security standards and classified program protection.
- Risk‑Oriented & Analytical – Skilled in identifying vulnerabilities and applying mitigation strategies.
- Collaborative & Mission‑Focused – Partners with stakeholders to align security with operational needs.
- Detail‑Oriented & Proactive – Maintains accurate records and anticipates emerging risks.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- 0–15+ years of experience in program security, classified program protection, or government compliance (multi‑discipline levels available).
- Knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, and federal security requirements.
- Experience in risk assessments, clearance management, and incident response.
Preferred
- Experience supporting ODNI, IC, or DoD program security operations.
- Security certifications such as ISP, CISSP, or SFPC.
