As a Security Officer – Front Desk Security Clearance in Mc Lean, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. You will be the first point of contact at a leading aerospace and defense location, managing visitor access, monitoring entry points, and providing outstanding customer service while supporting security-related protocols.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access control and verify identification of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and direct them to appropriate personnel or areas.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through professional presence and attention to procedures.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
