How a Software Developer will make an impact:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas:
Vue, Node.js, Java script.

• Provide enterprise system support as part of a software development team.
• Apply expertise in one or more areas:
  Vue, Node.js, JavaScript.
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
• Implement the product’s lifecycle: design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications.
• Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

  Skills:
  
  Single Page Applications (Vue, JavaScript, Type Script, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
• Back End
  
  Skills:
  
  Microservices, REST, Node.js, Nest.js
• Build Tools:
  Maven, Gradle, Git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE products
• Excellent requirement analysis and system design capabilities
• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
• Proven ability to implement the product lifecycle: design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
• Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications

• Documented experience with Dev Ops/Platforms:
  Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Formation)
• Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails
• CI/CD:
  Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes
• Collaborate effectively across teams
• Knowledge of relational databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Database schema design and SQL development

• Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Location: McLean, VA, on Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required
