Position Summary:

Supports the sustainment and incremental development of the Persistent Infrared (PIR) Enterprise Platform within a secure, cloud-based environment. The SE2 contributes to software maintenance, minor enhancements, and Agile sprint execution under the guidance of senior engineers. This role emphasizes developing and maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing software that complies with DoD cybersecurity directives. Mission Support
• Sustainment:
Executes maintenance, bug fixes, and vulnerability remediations in compliance with DoD cybersecurity and IAVA guidance.
• Development:
Assists with implementing new features and enhancements using secure Dev Sec Ops  practices. Responsibilities:
• Perform software maintenance, patching, and testing across OPIR platform environments (development, integration, production).
• Resolve Tier II support issues, debug defects, and execute Jira OPTIMUS tickets.
• Develop and deploy secure applications within CI/CD and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Write clean, testable code for both frontend and backend components (React, Type Script, Python, Node.js).
• Support regression testing and code validation for minor software improvements.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and release notes.
• Participate in Agile sprints and Scrum ceremonies under senior technical direction. Technical
