Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Full Stack Developer

Overview

Big Bear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer to work with a team of developers to support enterprise web applications across multiple fabrics. The candidate will develop and support Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities for the enterprise and stand‑alone deployment throughout the IC. The position is hybrid and will be located in Hanover, MD.

• Provide input throughout the software lifecycle to include testing
• Implement new features, capabilities and address defects.
• Define, manage, and deliver capabilities within an existing team

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines is required.
• Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
• 8+ years of software engineering experience is required. 3+ years’ work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is required.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, for a total of 12 years.
• Java Development Experience
• Ability to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results and correct code as needed
• Experience Performing Development in the eVo environment to include familiarity and use of tools in the environment (Grey Box, Spring, Docker etc.)
• Use of Gitlab, CI/CD, build pipelines
• Understanding of Full Stack development

• Familiar with AWS
• Perform software life-cycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements
• Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application
• Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
• Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML
• Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.
• Experience with engaging with leadership, customers, and interfacing teams.
