Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, including experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and the latest .NET frameworks. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. The position is on-site in McLean, Virginia, and is a contract role for a duration of 9 months.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software components using .NET frameworks.
- Understand and implement the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment to meet project goals.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Perform unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Deploy software applications in a Windows environment.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with .NET development, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
- Proficiency in enterprise software development using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, and REST Services.
- Experience with SOAP- or REST-based web services, XML, and JSON technologies.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular
JS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Strong T‑SQL skills with experience in complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Moq.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, including SCRUM and Kanban.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proactive and customer‑focused approach.

$70-75/hr the specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
