Attain Partners is seeking an experienced Mule Soft Architect & Developer to join our Data Services & Analytics practice. This individual will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying enterprise integrations using the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform for our clients, with a strong emphasis on Higher Education and Salesforce ecosystems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional who combines Mule Soft architecture and development expertise with extensive Salesforce integration experience.

This role requires someone who can independently design and build integrations, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and work directly within Salesforce configuration environments to support end-to-end integration delivery. Active Mule Soft certification is mandatory, and previous experience supporting Higher Education institutions is strongly preferred. Important:
Candidates must possess at least one active Mule Soft certification and demonstrate strong hands-on Mule Soft development and Salesforce integration/configuration experience.

• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying integrations using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
• Expertise with Anypoint Studio, Data Weave, API Manager, Cloud Hub, and Mule Soft connectors.
• Proven experience developing REST APIs, SOAP APIs, batch integrations, and real-time integrations.
• Hands-on Salesforce integration and configuration experience, including the ability to navigate Salesforce Setup, objects, fields, relationships, connected apps, permissions, and API configurations.
• Experience integrating Salesforce using Mule Soft Salesforce Connector, REST API, SOAP API, and Bulk API.
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, integration architecture, authentication, OAuth 2.0, and error-handling frameworks.
• Ability to independently architect, build, test, troubleshoot, and deploy Mule Soft integrations.
• Experience developing technical specifications, integration mappings, API documentation, and solution architecture diagrams.
• Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business stakeholders.

• Higher Education experience is strongly preferred, particularly working with universities, Advancement organizations, and Student Information Systems.
• Experience integrating Salesforce Education Cloud, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, or Salesforce Advancement solutions.
• Familiarity with Higher Education platforms such as People Soft Campus Solutions, Ellucian Banner, Workday, Slate, Anthology, and other campus systems.
• Experience with Mule Soft API-led architecture and reusable integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of data migration, source-to-target mapping, data quality, and enterprise data architecture.
