Integration Engineer 3 (Email/ProofPoint) The Associate Experience Technology team connects users in the Capital One enterprise with simple to use, digitally enriched experiences that are designed to maximize associate productivity. Our teams uncover old, archaic processes and identify Associate pain-points caused by outdated technology - and then we design, develop, and implement new ways of doing things that alleviate users’ headaches and wasted time.

We are seeking Email/Dev Ops Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies to join our team.

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
• Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our associates.
• Utilize programming languages like NodeJS, Python, and SQL, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
• At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
• At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms

• 4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, Git Hub, Artifactory)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Experience managing identity and access within systems
• 4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
• Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures
• 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, or like technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Cloud Watch, Splunk, Datadog) to ensure integration performance and resiliency
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives
