Precision Support Services, LLC is a McMinnville, Oregon-based FAA Part 145 Repair Station looking to add a Maintenance Technician and an Avionics Technician to its team.
Maintenance TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and inspections as related to Precision’s fleet and customer aircraft.
- Support the Part 145 Repair Station on all projects regardless of type of aircraft as long as you have received sufficient training
** to accomplish the task. - Working with management in looking for ways to optimize company performance and profitable growth/utilization of resources.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Support other activities around Precision to include office duties and line service duties.
- Participate in all Maintenance, Operations and Safety Programs to include the Drug and Alcohol program.
- Additional responsibilities and duties per management direction.

Required Skills and Experience
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals as well as engineering and installation drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot and basic knowledge of aircraft mechanical and electrical system functions.
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations related to aircraft maintenance and inspection.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Airframe specific experience with Bell Helicopter (206/205/212), Airbus Helicopter (H125/332) and Pilatus PC-12.
- 2+ years of recent experience in General Aviation preferred.
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, avionics components and assemblies using calibrated test equipment
- Install and/or replace electrical components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft.
- Set up and operate ground and flight test equipment to perform operational checks and functional flight tests of electronic systems.
- Coordinate with supervisors and fellow technicians to ensure timeliness of work completion.
- Keep and maintain records of maintenance and repair work as required by applicable FARs and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Must be able to pass a DOT-FAA pre-employment drug screening physical.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must have sufficient experience to obtain a Repairman’s Certificate.
- 2+ years of recent experience in General Aviation Avionics preferred.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical equipment installation drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and solid knowledge of all aircraft mechanical and electrical system functions.
- Strong background in Garmin and Technisonic products.**
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations and Inspection Procedures as related to aircraft electronics.
