Summary
The Evergreen Campus is ushering in a new era, and we are looking for Banquet Servers to assist with all aspects of events, including setup, food presentation, serving, and cleanup, while focusing on detail quality presentation, and customer service.

1. Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet or event area
2. Set table place settings, including table linen, china, glass, silverware, and condiments, and ensure that each element is clean, undamaged, and attractive
3. Keep food service areas and guest tables clean and orderly during the event by replenishing food and beverage stations, bussing dirty dishes and glassware, taking out garbage, and doing dishes as needed.
Job Duties- Approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Remains alert of complaints and or/unsatisfied guests and responds appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain constant contact with Banquet Lead and kitchen staff to ensure complete effective communication between food production and food service
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tables
- Maintain clean and orderly back areas, pre-function areas, and storage areas
- Return all china, glassware, silverware, linen, etc., to their proper location after each event.
- Work with the Banquet Lead to ensure quality and accuracy of setups within all catering rooms.
- Be of legal age and TIPS trained to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Accurately count cash and efficiently process transactions using company systems.
- Protect establishment and patrons by following sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from both the Banquet Lead and Manager
- Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
1+ years of food service, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
License/Certification:Valid OLCC Service Permit
Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card or Equivalent
Education:High school diploma or GED
