Event Servers & Bartenders – Evergreen Events
Join the Evergreen Event team to assist with all aspects of event execution, including setup, food and beverage presentation, serving, and cleanup, with a focus on detail, quality, and customer service.
Essential Duties- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of banquet or event areas.
- Set table place settings, including linens, china, glassware, silverware, and condiments, ensuring each element is clean, undamaged, and attractive.
- Maintain food and beverage service areas and guest tables clean and orderly by replenishing stations, bussing dishes and glassware, taking out garbage, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
- Remain alert to complaints or dissatisfied guests and respond appropriately to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain constant contact with Banquet Lead and kitchen staff to ensure effective communication.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Properly set buffet tables and other food service tables.
- Maintain clean and orderly back and pre‑function areas.
- Return all china, glassware, silverware, linen, etc., to their proper location after each event.
- Work with the Banquet Lead to ensure quality and accuracy of setups within all catering rooms.
- Be of legal age and TIPS trained to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Accurately count cash and efficiently process transactions using company systems.
- Protect the establishment and patrons by following sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully take direction from both the Banquet Lead and Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
1+ years of food service, hospitality, or customer‑facing experience preferred.
Minimum age 18 years old.
License/Certification- Valid OLCC Service Permit, or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card or equivalent.
High school diploma or GED.
