This position is responsible for greeting guests, taking food orders, checking with guests to confirm that the order is correct, and serving orders to guests on time. You will provide additional condiments or utensils for guests, keep the department stocked, host birthday party guests, help with cleaning projects, re-stocking items, and help bus lanes and tables.

• Review the board for any parties, groups, or assignments at the start of each shift and complete items on opening, shift change, and closing checklists.
• Use radio to communicate with other employees, respond promptly to notifications, and retrieve orders for guests.
• Serve an order to guests at tables or lanes using a tray, delivering food items politely and accurately according to what was ordered.
• Provide guests with outstanding services that consistently exceed expectations in a clean and friendly environment, smiling and attending to guests’ needs with an upbeat attitude.
• Help host birthday parties, assisting guests with anything they need (moving belongings, taking items to their car, transporting cake to the admin building, etc.) to ensure a fantastic waterpark experience.
• Ensure runner carts are clean, organized, and uncluttered, including the one outside of location, if applicable.
• Check trash cans and waste buckets regularly, empty them as needed, collect trash from the bar and service station, and take it to the compactor at shift end.
• Clean tables, chairs, and floors before, during, and after food service; wipe all chairs, tables, and table bases at shift end.
• Monitor chemicals to ensure they are not left unattended on countertops.
• Notify a lead or supervisor if there is a problem with a guest’s order, including if orders are longer than 10 minutes.
• Maintain general knowledge of the park, height and weight restrictions, special events, and general safety.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu to answer guests’ questions.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. Flexibility in hours and the ability to work on some weekends or evenings.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully take direction from the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Food Handlers Permit certificate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
