About Us: McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates is a well‑established rural health clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient‑centered healthcare to our community. The clinic is located on the hospital campus with many resources readily available. McPherson Hospital is licensed for 49 beds, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Surgical and Emergency Services with Level IV Trauma designation. In addition to inpatient service, the hospital offers state‑of‑the‑art outpatient services including full Radiology (X‑ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Sonography, Interventional Radiology), Respiratory Care services (including Sleep Studies), Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Clinical Dietician, Wound Clinic, Occupational Health, and Infusions.

A 24/7 Emergency Department physician group and hospitalist team support acute care and offer clinic providers support for work‑life balance. Our team is passionate about promoting health and wellness in our rural setting and is eager to welcome a new Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to our family.

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician with OB experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high‑quality care to our diverse patient population, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. You will play a crucial role in our community, working closely with patients and their families to promote health, wellness, and preventative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including acute and chronic care management.
  • Perform full‑spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery, C‑sections and postpartum follow‑up.
  • Participate in OB on‑call rotation with other dedicated delivering physicians.
  • Conduct routine health screenings and preventive care services.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
  • Engage with patients and families to promote health education and wellness initiatives.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and contribute to the clinic's growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Completed an accredited Family Medicine residency with obstetrics training.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong clinical skills in both family medicine and obstetrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to rural healthcare and community involvement.
