Overview
Correctional Officer at McPherson County Sheriff’s Office. Full-time, second or third shift, weekends and holidays. County benefits package and good compensation.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain order in the correctional facility, enforce rules, handle emergencies, perform typing, telephone and computer duties, interact positively with inmates and staff.
Qualifications- High school diploma/GED
- No criminal convictions
- Good public relations skills
- Typing, telephone and computer skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations
Beginning wage: $20.77 per hour. After six months, wage increase. Annual wage and cost of living increases apply.
