A Day in the Life of a PRN Certified Medication Aide (CMA)As a CMA you play a vital role by passing medications as prescribed, providing direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and monitoring changes in residents’ condition, behavior, and appetite. You maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations, deliver excellent customer service, and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications- Current Kansas CMA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
- Experience in geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
