Materials Management Clerk

Job Overview:
The Materials Management Clerk receives and processes all incoming supplies and equipment, distributing these items as needed throughout the hospital.

• Maintain stock levels in all departments with PAR levels.
• Receive items, check product for correctness and outdates.
• Ensure packing slips match purchase orders during shipment reception.
• Check for outdates on supplies in stock and keep an account of issued items.
• Assist Materials Specialist, Supply Coordinator, and Director with related tasks.
• Complete Health streams education by designated due dates.
• Attend required staff, department, and organization meetings.
• Demonstrate strong, clear communication skills.
• Uphold the C.A.R.E. Values of McPherson Center for Health.
• Exhibit professionalism at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in the professional development of self and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in a related role.
• Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  None required.
• Skills:
  
  Basic accounting, data entry, critical thinking, and other relevant abilities.
