Fitness Aide

Job Summary

Fitness Aide role at McPherson Hospital, Inc. Performing clerical, cleaning, and minor fitness duties.

• PRN (as needed)

• Perform minor clerical duties such as statement mailings, payments, and computer entries.
• Assist with the cleaning of all equipment.
• Be available to physically assist members with the proper use of the equipment.
• Provide basic supervision of the facility for safety and security.
• Demonstrate maturity to work independently and in a positive helpful manner with members and staff of all ages.
• Assist individuals of all ages verbally and physically when necessary.
• Positive, outgoing personality is a must.
• Use good judgment and handle unexpected situations.
• Work in an area among several people with multiple interruptions and a moderate to high noise level.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary within the capabilities of the fitness aide’s knowledge and skills.

• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR certification (will be provided if not currently certified).
• Current computer skills.
• Interest in wellness, exercise, and helping others.
