Associate Casualty Claims Adjuster

Entry level position to adjust first and third‑party casualty claims involving complex losses.

• Complete the claims training program through classroom study, hands‑on training, and independent study. The program lasts approximately six months, but timing is determined on a case‑by‑case basis.
• Investigate, evaluate, and conclude casualty claims of a complex nature. Adjustments of losses in excess of $5,000 are required.
• Show aptitude for first and third‑party claims.
• Collaborate with teammates to effectively navigate claim processes.
• Investigate and evaluate coverage issues.
• Consistently support company, departmental, and managerial decisions by positively interpreting, applying, and communicating company information and policies to employees, agents, and customers.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate’s degree considered. Work experience in the property/casualty insurance industry preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated desire to learn shown through completion of various IIA/CPCU or other recognized industry courses is desired.
• Continued learning through additional courses may be required by the Manager.
