Agronomy Plant Operator

What You Will Do

• Load spray rigs, tender trucks, and customer equipment with precision and care.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing agronomy products.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and solve problems quickly.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company guidelines to maintain safety and compliance.
• Operate and maintain equipment for dry and liquid fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, and crop protection products.
• Assist with seed operations, including bulk seed handling and equipment support.
• Train and mentor teammates on equipment use and safety procedures.
• Attend training sessions and keep up with product updates.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.
• Lead special projects to improve operations and support the team.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1A Chemical Applicator License (or ability to obtain).
• Mechanical aptitude, including basic welding, cutting, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with crop protection and nutrient products.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
