Job Description Summary
Responsible for machine prep at shift start, operating auxiliary equipment to produce various products, ensuring quality and meeting production goals, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Job Description Details
Production
- Proficient in all Operator 1 & 2 job requirements
- Monitor and operate processing equipment with minimal supervision
- Assist higher-level operators
- Use measuring tools to ensure quality standards
- Train lower-level operators
- Operate material handling and processing equipment
- Update shop floor management system as needed
- Identify malfunctions and assist with repairs
- Collaborate with technicians for equipment issues and root cause analysis
- Perform basic preventative maintenance
Supply Raw Material
- Check workstations for supply levels and replenish as needed
- Transport materials and notify supervisors of shortages
- Identify raw materials and communicate shortages effectively
Quality and Testing
- Inspect products for quality compliance
- Report and handle non-conforming products
- Rework items as necessary
- Input quality data accurately
- Identify raw materials that don't meet standards
Other
- Participate in activities like 6S, workshops, cross-training, etc.

- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills
- Manual dexterity for small parts
- Repetitive task performance ability

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- High School diploma or 6-12 months related experience
