Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr - $19.80/hr

McPherson Health and Rehab in McPherson, KS is looking to hire a day shift and night shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Day In the Life Of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA, you play a vital role in our community. You provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You follow the resident plan of care/CNA assignment card, reposition residents as required, keep accurate records of temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and perform range‑of‑motion assessments.

You observe and report changes in residents’ condition, mood, appetite, or behavior, maintain confidentiality, comply with HIPAA regulations, and uphold facility policies and procedures. Your friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications
  • Completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • Desire to work with the elderly.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility ismint preferred but not required. If you are trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, a team player, and enjoy caring for seniors, you might be the perfect fit for this position.◎

Work Schedule

This full‑time position works 12‑hour shifts (6:00‑18:00 or 18:00‑6:00).
