You will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security‑related incidents by maintaining a visible presence throughout your assigned area.

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting restricted areas as per site‑specific policies.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management, logging arrivals and departures according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to observe for unusual activity or potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and policies to help deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and concerns from staff, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
• Document and report all security‑related incidents, observations, and interventions in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
