Kopahawakenum Community School is searching for an enthusiastic Grade 6 Teacher.

Located on the Flying Dust First Nation, Kopahawakenum Community School invites passionate educators to apply for the Grade 6 teaching position. Your duties will involve planning engaging lessons in subjects such as Language Arts and Social Studies, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning levels. You will also play an active role in communicating with families about their children’s progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in core subjects

• Adjust teaching to meet diverse students’ learning needs

• Maintain a respectful, structured classroom environment

• Conduct assessments to track and guide student progress

• Communicate with parents regarding student achievements

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education required

• Eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A certificate

• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous Peoples' culture

• Strong classroom management and behavioral techniques

• Dedicated to inclusive teaching practices
